Missing: Rita Mae Midkiff-Hughes

I have never met her and it is unlikely that I ever will. She is the mother of my nephew and sadly on December 6th 1986, she disappeared. My nephew said that the last time he saw her...she was sitting on the passenger side of the car... and was crying as his stepfather backed the car down the driveway. I know that this will probably do no good...but I try to put the information out there now and then. Who knows maybe someone might recognize her or maybe even remember something? We are pretty certain that she is no longer alive....but I want to put this out there for my nephew with the hope of giving him some closure. My nephew and his wife had their first child last December. Rita now has a beautiful grandson.

    2. Thank you so much Joanna. In addition to my nephew...I always think of Rita's mother. I cannot imagine not knowing what happened to my child. No matter how old our children get...they are still our babies.
